State-of-the-art helicopters – Robinson R44.

The following requirements must be met for enrolment:

  • Minimum age of 16 years old at the beginning of the course.
  • Be 17 years of age on the date of the practical test.
  • Official Class II medical examination.
Our academic syllabus extensively develops the syllabus required by the regulations and its subjects:

  • Aviation law
  • General knowledge of aircraft
  • Performance and flight planning
  • Human factors
  • Operational procedures
  • Meteorology
  • Navigation
  • Principles of flight
  • Communications

Theory

The academic programme will be taught on a blended learning basis, with hours of study by the student and personal tutorials with a teacher from the school.

Flight

The course will consist of a total of more than 45 hours of actual flying.
During these hours, all manoeuvres and procedures as specified in the EU-FCL regulation are covered extensively. The 1.5 hours of R44 required for the flight test is also included.
